Hi,

I'm trying to avoid the cost of a genuine oem new badge. Would be great if someone has a used one laying around. It doesn't have to be in perfect condition.

Feel free to send me a pm with pic and price.

Thanks

Just get a knock off from eBay. It might not last long but is cheap as chips to replace.

I got one a few weeks ago and it just looks like a new BMW badge..

Zed and anyone else who has done this before. Is it true that it's just stuck on with glue? No plastic bolts a with the front?

Yes it's held on with double sided tape. I have one on my car that I'm breaking, I'll post pics later

Thanks mate!

Appreciate the help

Hold up. The one I bought had two locating pins on the back and rubber lugs on to hold it in place. It didn’t “stick on” with anything and is still attached firmly to the back of the car.

Mine was the same - just 2 locating lugs on the badge which push into rubber bungs. Be careful as the day I fitted the shiny new badge, someone rear ended me :(

I have OEM Rear badge in good condition.it’s fitted with the 2 lugs as explained above.

Yes I had a feeling something didn't add up. The new one has the two lugs so I have a feeling the original does too.
How do I get to the lugs? When I did the front I had to pull the front grilles out. Not like it showed on YTube to force off with a knife and tape to protect the paint

Just changed a rear one on wifey's.
Plenty of layers of tape then eased off with a trim tool, with a cloth under the back of it to lever against.
Work it out gradually, one side then the other. If you pop one side completely out it can potentially angle the other lug and make it grip tighter.
