Always had a soft spot for the Ricer Rally Reps, as I had a Mitsubishi Evo back in the day...

Stop it Andrew!
Can't. I get bored very easily. The Scooby for £20k would be a good deal. Couldn't afford to run the Diva Aston.
Yeah go for it. It's hardly going to lose value in the week you'll have it. :poke: :D

I think you'll find I haven't bought a car since May. Prices are dropping, can't afford to keep changing anymore. I do like that scooby, though. House is going on the market this week, so anything will have to wait until we see what happens with that. I have moved house on average every three years too; so it's not just cars!

Which Evo did you have
I had a 5 with a few very light mods. It was a grey import, as they didn't start selling 'officially' in the UK until the 6. I loved that car. The 4G63 engine was one of the best turbo 2 litres ever made IMHO.

 loved that era Evo.

I like the look of the Subaru, I bet it's a very capable motor
The four wheel drive systems on these type of cars are incredible. Electronically controlled centre diffs, the lot. As I said earlier I had an equivalent Evo 20 years ago. It was the only car I've driven that made me feel I could drive well.

I’d like to know what the outstanding recall is before I bid on it and why it wasn’t dealt with when it was last serviced
The recall is easily sorted; any other information may be a bit harder to find. The reason why I don't like auctions is the risk factor. I like a bargain but risk averse.
The history shows it has been hardly driven; therefore I would expect it to have been in immaculate condition. But it's not, which is probably why it's being auctioned. Also a very strange car for the Bangers & Cash brigade to sell.

The point I was making was what sort of service history has it got I wonder
At that mileage it could easily be none! I could probably find out if I was serious.
