Really, a Z4 is wasted on me...

Just filled up tonight for the first time since 15th May...

Yup, that's near enough 3 months and 313 miles since I last put fuel in the car. And that last time was on the return from the Z4-forum Skye trip. I really need to drive it more often. In my defence though, I've been away in the campervan for 3 entire weeks including weekends either side plus a further 3 weekend trips, so I've had little need to drive. Cycling takes car of getting back and forward to work, and the campervan does the biking duties.

Why do I have a car again?!

Know what you mean, since taking mine off the market I've made sure it's been used and after a few twisty roads you soon remember why you got it in the first place. :driving:

If you've lost intrerest in your Zed, may I suggest you make someone else's day. You can always buy another or just hire one for a weekend if you get withdrawl symptoms...

That's 313 more miles than my R1 has done in the last 18 months, come the 1st September you'll soon remember :D .

Jembo, believe me I've not lost interest at all - my z4 is going nowhere (literally sometimes unfortunately...). Just wish I could find the time to drive it...

Richard, roll on 1st Sept!

And gannet, yeah I'm embarrassed by the lack of miles...

If you want it to be used but are having difficulty finding the time I will use it for you :D save putting the wear and tear on mine :P

mMakes me feel a lot better now, 4000 miles in 2 years, though my Ducati has had a easier life doing about 800 miles instead of the usual 2000 a year

I've done 7,000 in the last 11 months - and this is my second (fun) car. :?

I must be having a lot of fun these days. :driving:

i drove from london to devon, then back to wilton house, then back to devon, then back to london this weekend..

hours and hours of top down fun

Can't believe that's all you have used the car for since may!! I've done about 8,000 miles since mid May. Daily drive for me to work and back!

Its there the be enjoyed! :)

Believe me, I'd love to use it more!

My workplaces are all less than 6-miles from home, so I cycle every single day. Only exceptions are meetings elsewhere that are too far to cycle, but that's literally once a month. Over a year that saves me approx 2700miles of dull commutes in the Z4 (60 miles/wk, 46 wks/yr).

And my main hobby is mountain-biking and we've got a campervan for that. Given we go MTBing 2 out of 3 weekends, that leaves little opportunity to use the Z4. I use it for shopping trips but only if it involves a detour (it's funny how the trip to Tesco 1.3miles from my house turns into a 30-mile round trip...) and visiting my folks and friends. But I do still love a pointless drive, i.e. just going and driving purely for the hell of of it.

But after driving the campervan it sure makes you appreciate the Z4 even more :)
