Real Carbon Fiber Laminating/Skinning (Pic Heavy!)

I didn't know where was best to post this as it's not really anything to do with me, but I've developed a good relationship with this place and have had a couple of queries on my carbon mirrors so I thought it was worth putting this out there.

They are called AGT Styling, located in Cyprus (bear with me) and they are great at what they do. My first interaction with them was to form a group buy for a set of carbon fiber side skirt extensions which a number of members on here were a part of here http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=99807. I can personally attest to the excellent quality of my set and I'm sure the others would agree. Pics below (one of the photos has some rain water due to test fitting outside, they are not bubbles in the lacquer).

For what they do they are incredibly cheap, which is a complement not a negative. And postage is worldwide.

Since then I've had them carbon laminate my mirrors at an very low price (email for a quote) and €30 shipping. And when they came back as good as they were, I then had various interior parts done by them too. All came back really nice, pics below.

Looks like quality work, wasn't you worried about sending bits of your P&J so far away ?
 
Nah not after we got the side skirt extensions. I had been in regular contact with Antreas the owner and he's a top bloke, always happy to chat. The parts all got there in about a week via Royal Mail, I didn't have any issues. I just made sure everything was well packaged and protected so it wouldn't get damaged.
 
The quality looks great....I presume there is nowhere in the UK that can come close on price?

Can you give a ballpark figure on how much the various bits are? Like you, once you start doing some parts in CF then I'd end up doing almost the whole lot, so would be keen to understand what dollar I'd need to spend in total.
 
I don't know of any in the UK that beat them on price, that's not to say there aren't any, I'm just not aware of them.

I can't mention names as they are a UK distributer for AGT, but to use an example, we paid about €250 all in for the carbon side skirt extensions. To buy the same ones in the UK you're looking at £340 plus shipping.

I couldn't give you an accurate estimate on price as I was given a discount as a thank you for organising the Group Buy. We got about 23 people on the GB so they wanted to show gratitude for my efforts. I've spoken to Antreas about what constitutes a price and he gave me the following:

1) hours to produce the carbon part
2) if they are black colour or need to be painted first
3) materials that will be used
4) how difficult is to laminate each part.

Best thing to do is send an email to Antreas at [email protected] with an idea of what you want done and he can give you a quote straight off the bat. If you plan to expand on say having mirrors done to having more like me it's a good idea to plan in advance and do it in one or two trips so you're not paying multiple lots of postage considering it's going out of the country.
