Ready for Bond , James Bond ?

Absolutely loved the film - thought it was the best bond of the Craig era, Favourite scene? The Bond-mouse stand-off......
 
Saw it last night and to be fair, if you put your brain into neutral, it was an enjoyable couple of hours. Monica Belluci was criminally underused though and Mrs Pilot shared the view that Lea Seydoux was not Bond girl material. If I was Daniel Craig though, I think I'd be walking away from this now - I'm not sure where they will go next with the storyline, but I fear that it's all headed into Pierce Brosnan/Roger Moore silliness. Christophe Waltz wearing loafers without socks and a Dr Evil jacket - oh dear....
 
Seems opinion is definitely polarised on this film then... It's a bit Marmote :D

Onwards to Star Wars - less than a month now :trampoline:
 
I have a child who has read the Hunger Games. This weekend for that and then Star Wars. Been quite good for films lately.

Tom Hanks latest movie looks good with Mark Rylances (Wolf Hall) also looks to be excellent and I want to see that as well.
 
Just come back from Bond, Casino Royale is still my favourite - Quantum of Solace my least. This one - well - just above Quantum I'm afraid. Don't get me wrong, I can think of worse ways to spend a few hours but unlike Casino Royale, I wouldn't watch this one again. Surely that is Daniel Craig's last outing as 007 - it certainly felt like it.
 
I thought it was a bit rubbish , waltz was wasted , watch inglorious basterds again to see how good he is , Craig was much better in the previous bond but better again in layer cake , that said they were probably well paid though !
 
Its no secret the theme tune for Spectre was between Sam Smith & Radiohead
As i can't stand the whining high pitch snivel of the former i would have been drawn towards the indy bands efforts
