Not sure if the R8 isn't better than this GT3 RS at circa £140k

Wouldn't you rather have the Huracan?

One of the GT3RS and R8 will go up in value and the other will go down.....and I know what a shrewd individual you are Graham!

Neither of those really do it for me. Pretty cars for sure, and I wouldn't say 'no', but at a price well into six figures I'd want something jaw-droppingly beautiful.

+1

140k for a Porsche is to much for a car that you pretty much see everyday. Yes I know not that model but they all look the same :poke:

It'll be the GT3 RS if I can get one, however I won't know until the end of the year :headbang:

R8 if not :)

GT3 for me - the R8 looked stunning at launch in 2006 but I'm not sure the 2nd Gen moves the concept on far enough - clearly both will be great drives.

You said you wouldn't buy a Jaguar because DB is involved with the brand, but you're happy to buy an R8 even though half of its owner base are the talentless dregs of the celebrity world?

Come on man be consistent :poke:

But yeh, the GT3RS is much nicer. Not sure my money would ever go into the R8, better options around imo.

At my age I'm allowed to be inconsistent :poke: :)

You shouldn't have a problem as I think the GT3 problems have put a few people off.

Can't talk about the 991 (as it's not built obviously) but the previous GT3RS was NOT a friendly car to drive on a daily basis. Stripped out, with highly uncomfortable seats and bone shattering ride. Brilliant for track.

New car is supposed to be more user friendly on the road, and yes they're still a bit stripped out :o
