With the car being lowered, the tyres were too wide (235 fr, 265 r) so had to get some 225's for the front and stick the 235's on the back. Should be on for saturday, hopefully!

Big balls Ben for doin this, i also noticed my roof go patchy from using renovo but rather then do this i thought " f**k it new roof" 28th august £1020 but worth it as brand new
Looks good tho Ben one more coat should do it.

When you say you noticed your roof going patchy from using renovo - can you elaborate a little? (Im soon to order black renovo to recolour my hood)

Was it from using it, or like the OP not cleaning BSoff then scrubbing it off which removed the colour at the same time!
Any info appreciated! Sste

Not sure mate, roof was clean and did two coats but looks shite but i have Zeditis ( bad zed ocd if u wasnt sure lol ) so geting a whole new roof in aug for the small fee of £1040 :lol:

Hello[ref]ben g[/ref], sorry the spam the topics but unfortenatly I am unable to use the Private Messages, maybe if you start it. Don´t know. If not I would be happy to know some things about the dying the roof to black. Also if I love the burgundy soft top on the sterling grey Z4 (I have the same color but with orange side markers) I will first try it with black. I browsed your topics and wans´t sure if you can recommend the dying or not.
Did you use the whole 1 litre bottle of renovo?
Were there any troubles with the color while dying or afterwards? Like uneven color distribution or trouble with rain?
You have written that your soft top was like sandpaper afterwards but you didn´t use the ultra proofer?
Any problems with the fitting afterwards?
Do you have more pictures of the result?

I am sorry to ask you that many questions at once, but in the german z4 forum there isn´t anyone who did this. They are all worried about uneven color distribution and tell you to buy a new top. Hope to hear from you soon.
