Just replaced the regulator on my son's car. Around 90,000 miles, original alternator and minimal bearing wear. If I recall the regulator was around $35. You can replace it without removing the alternator.
The new regulator arrived today, fitted it and no more battery light
Now getting 14.7 at the battery. Same as Jarvis, all done with the alternator on the car
