Yeh get where you’re coming from Andy.
So 2.0i or 23i
Not up on the E89 model differences
Much between the two?
Similar power?
I can see why the price may tempt for the 30i E89 but its 72k - 2009 with Se seats , 17inch wheels & navless so plenty going against it .
Bear in mind around £10k you can get a much newer ( 2011 - 2012) similar miles Msport 20i or Msport 23i & i know where my money would be going . The 30is are worth seeking out but for me it needs to be the right one

The said garage, have offered a very reasonable px price on my car.
The question is, should I wait and do as Mr Wilks has suggested , and consider 23i m sport with higher spec at similar budget 9000.
Should I be considering e86 coupes?
The car that Mr Tidy is going to look at , doesn’t have nav, but not to bothered as never use it.
Doesn’t have m sport seats, would be nice but not a deal breaker, wheels I agree will probably change at some stage.
Good px price is obviously a tempting offer, but would I be better to wait and head in a different choice direction?

There seems to be a lack of E89,s in the south West
Not so concerned about travelling for the right car, but would be nice to try some that were closer.greg81 said:Phoenixboy said:Yes your rightSmartbear said:Hi, sounds like you need to go & try a few different cars to get a clearer idea of what’s best for you?![]()

I'm afraid there' seems to be a lack of good ones across the whole country. I'm on a 300 mile journey to pick mine up as there wasn't a single car in Scotland at the right spec/price for me![]()

No idea where you are, Somerset?
I’m undecided at the moment.JamiesZ4 said:That does look to be a bargain even if it is quite light on the bells-n-whistles. My 3.0 didn't come with much but its still a great car to drive, I've not got sat nav but not fussed about that (the area that would hold the sat nav holds my sunglasses instead!). I also don't have the sports seats but that has worked out to be quite nice anyhow. It all depends on what you want at the end of the day I guess!
