rattling roll bar inserts....

Hi guys
I've got an 05 z4 alpina roadster with the silver plastic roll bars with hard inserts, the inserts rattle like hell, any ideas on how to sort them out...>?

I assume you mean the clear plastic inserts within the roll bar hoops, part of the wind deflector kit?

Mine used to rattle, so I smeared a small amount of clear silicone sealer on the upper and lower edge. Removed all visible traces with a damp cloth before it set, so it left a thin bead out of sight. Never rattled since.
