Rattle to Rear Passenger Side

Managed to get my M Coupe out for the first time in 8 weeks. 60 spirited miles round North Nottinghamshire. Very enjoyable apart from it's developed a squeak/rattle coming from over the left shoulder of the passenger.

Anybody had this? Possible solutions? I've checked the rattle thread in the "how to" section to no avail.

Any help/advice appreciated.

Any consolation guys, and might sound trivial, but mine was the same place and was the plastic belt buckle hitting the door plastic...

It seems to have gone when I make sure the belt is over the seat properly, give it a go?
 
That or the door for the cubby hole where cd changer is. I put the fluffy side of Velcro on the edge the shut it tight.
 
Thanks chaps. I've already had the seat belt buckle against plastic rattle so I do the same as you and drape it over the passenger bolster.

I'll have a look at the centre cubby but it sounds further back and to the left.

Mine sounds the same
 
I experience the same problem but only when the there is no passenger, clipping the passenger seat belt does help but I suspect the passenger seat back rest has some 'play' in it and under certain road conditions sets up a bit of vibration. Highly annoying, maybe a cushion stuffed between the back rest and rear trim would help.

yeah it appear to not be the seat belt is almost coming from where the roof meets the body of the car in the corner behind the passenger seat!
