rattle / knock z4 coupe n52

Ok last week i got a slight rattle / knock (after a long drive), its only happens odd time setting off in first low revs or 2nd gear low revs when u start to accelerate.

sounds like exhaust knock / heat shield on previous cars, but all mounts seem fine, heat shields seem it too.

so no broken bolts or owt. i think its coming from front, is there any think else to check

Check the strut brace mounts at the centre by the windscreen.

checked them too, well i put ratchet on and pulled towards me n nuts didnt budge lol

Could be the propshaft, that's quite common but is just a clunk when moving off.

its more of a vibration rattle, i know the clunk you mean when going from fwd to reverse, this only seems to happen at really low revs under acceleration

in other cars the noise would mean exhaust mounts failed like a chattering between pipe joins, but on this it doesnt seem to have a flexi joint :/

I had a similar sounding issue which seems to have been fixed by replacing bushings - may be worth a look?
