Ratling sound at low rev

When I let the clutch go at low rev around 700-800rpm I get this sound of something shaking.
Anyone who know what that is?

Just nervous it could be the cam chain, but might just be the exhaust suspension rubber being old...

I'm no expert but if it was a cam-chain issue I would have thought it wouldn't stop once the clutch was engaged.

Dual-Mass Flywheel possibly? Hopefully someone more competent will be along soon!

Thanks for feedback guys 👍

The sound seem to come from the motor or under the motor.
It is only shortly at those rpm and only when there is a load on the engine.

What is a DISA valve?

Just google bmw DISA valve issues and you’ll find lots of articles and youtube movies. It’s easy to check and even fix.

low rpm and under load... what gear are you in? If you could change to a lower gear instead, then it may be pinking to which I believe some N52 engines are prone. But I'm no mechanic...
