Been busy since we came back so haven't had the chance to update this thread. Home about a week ago, 3202 miles with a average of 34.1 mpg, eco mode made a big difference especially with all the average speed stuff on this side.
To sum it up, great experience, glad we did it, particularly the Austrian bit. Much more expensive than our usual trips to Spain but sort of expected that, maybe just not how much difference. Eating out was particularly expensive in Switzerland, 1/2 chicken and chips in our lodge/hotel £40

, pizza £30 etc. The scenery in the Alps was stunning. Weather was pretty poor for most of the holiday, as I got regularly pointed out to me

a week either side and the remps were high 20's low 30's
As I said, was a fantastic experience, doing and seeing the passes etc but wouldn't rush back. IMO northern Spain was a much better holiday, clear roads, great value for money and a much happier OH as it's bl00dy sunny
