I thought you shot Nikon. No idea where I got that idea from. I see you have a dust pump attached to your camera!

Other than that looks like we share the same camera gear. Gone for a Mkiii yet?

No man Nikon is for girls ;)! Na just prefer canon always have.

I do have the dust pump, specifically because its so useful, shooting at the track its great! Primes are fantastic but not as useful, fixed focal length when trying to keep up with a moving subject coming closer to you its just more convenient with a zoom plus they are much more expensive. Had a 300mm F4 IS for a while and sold it because of lack of use. On my APC I get 160-640 out of the dust pump so its a great all rounder but a bit slow tho... the 70-200 2.8 is 320 on my APC too so that covers the rest. Most of my stuff gets printed on Newsprint so basically the quality of toilet paper so the crispness of primes isnt necessary but would be nice ;). Had a 5D MKII but it got drowned on a lake shoot recently :( along with a 24-105mm was shooting a series for outward bound risked it and the steamer came past and capsized our bloody canoe! GUTTED! From now on I will always have a water bag on those shoots.

So have the insurance money waiting to drop on a MKIII but I like the APC because of the extra reach and use that more.

I havent pulled the trigger yet simply because buying the first iteration is a bit silly especially for pro use dont want it messing me around and loosing shots & time. There have been a few problems with the firmware and that light leak issue and also the raw codec so im going to wait until the dust settles to buy one. Im also going over to NYC in the fall and I fancy saving some money. 5D MKIII with the new 70-200mm 2.8 IS II + 1.4x + 2x MKIII converters, 24-70mm, 16-35mm, 24mm TS, 85mm 1.2 & 50mm 1.2. Buying in the states wis going to save me over £3500 as long as i get it all home :?

My second 40D has just hit 200,000 actuations tho so its ready for retirement.

And who obviously appreciates big cameras, can handle them with care and make the best use possible out of them: day shots, night shots, on the plane shots....

I heard the Waldorf has some photogenic bedrooms. Maybe another boudoir shoot...

Is it just me, or does everyone else feel like they are witnessing adultery? Poor Woots, someone should tell him that Ruby is now having an affair with Tom.

This is better than Eastenders, just needs the drums at the end!
 
My assessment of wingman / flight leader status is beginning to look prophetic, especially since Ruby introduced aircraft into the equation... Seems Baron Peddy Von Blinside has been quietly shot down though :? :D
 
So who's going to be the first to admit they're a member of the mile high club? Probably easier up there than in a Z4 coupe.
