Ratchets

Halfords and Facom ate decent quality, but in a Snap On person. The 80 tooth ratchets are superb and great when space is toft as they need a very small working arc. Also, as at least 7 teeth are always engaged, they have the strength.

I've had both Halford and Facom "slip" in use.

I have a Britool ratchet, sockets and extensions which I have used for 40 years and are still in excellent condition.

As my dad used to say 'Self-praise is no recommendation...'
Back to ratchets, the Halfords ones are pretty reasonable and do have a lifetime guarantee.

That's the set I got in June - great box of toys
