Trust Mrs J. Is not going to park next to her in the garage ... :o

I chose carefully... there is a large brick pillar in the middle... try as she might I don’t think even the XC60 will get through that

Always wondered why they didn't continue with this colour in the e89's?

a 35is with cream leather interior would have looked great.

I almost ordered this colour when new in 2007. They had one in the showroom which I liked but the sales guy put me off it as they were unlikely to ever take it in part exchange. The showroom car was also massively reduced at the time and if I wanted to order it new, I would need to put a bigger deposit down. It was just not a mainstream acceptable colour at the time.

Yes Suraj purchased my mint condition car (silver grey) and he got a brilliant car in top top condition!

Oh that’s great news, congratulations and so your wife’s happy and your happy, that’s an excellent result

Good to hear she’s still in the family, Jem
(...and if you ever want to sell those ‘spare’ 224’s let me know  )

So, a short update - secured a house with double garage at a price Christine will have a new home, so with great thanks to Josh, Nick, Jonny & Bill who had expressed their interest... Woots who I think wanted to steal & rape her... Inkey$ who was after her boots... along with Suraj who came for a shakedown before I put her up for sale ... who almost snatched her at a weak moment but then put a deposit on a silver MC as mine wasn’t then available... close but no cigar.

So... with real appreciation from all the interest now confirm am keeping my MC

Change of plans then.Retracted your offer on the bungalow?

Yes... absolute crazy week

Cheers 4 all your help Steve

Great to hear you are keeping it Jem. It was quite a dilemma choosing between Sepang, which just looked amazing with amazing handling to go with it over the Silver Grey that was in mint condition with all the extras I was after plus the low mileage. My father preferred your Sepang Bronze over the Silver Grey as well. But as SiJar said I have got zed in a tip-top condition and have soft spot for the Silver Grey as my first foray into the Zed world was with a 3.0-liter roadster in Silver Grey. Thanks again for the ride and maybe I can pick your brain on handling improvements you have made as that is something I want to address as the first mod.

Take care
