Not cheap, but this is one of the 'hen's teeth' set, so if you need one you may want to grab it quick!

It sold at 18.04 so is no longer listed, but now I'm intrigued too!

Is it a specific colour and trim combo?

Satellite airbag module left B post SBSL
The Right side is SBSR
The Centre main airbag module located under the centre console behind the handbrake is usually SIM85 on the Z4
Cars are fitted with a host of different serial numbers but alternatives can be fitted by looking up the part number and looking at the list of compatible modules that can be exchanged with the one you have. This is done on the Realoem parts site. All modules do have to be coded to your car when fitted.

Thought it might be something good
If you have an 03 zed and don’t want to scrap it just for an airbag light then this would be very good.
As shown by the fact it sold already!!

But I thought it might be something exciting which it isn’t, that’s all I was getting at.

What we really need are new replacements. No good fitting second hand components as a lasting solution. Will probably fail early

If you search back through my many posts on this subject you will see I have tried to find someone who can do this. It seems a few places can repair one or two parts within the SIM85 (step up converter for example), but no-one seems able to do anything with the satellite modules.
I am shortly collecting the set of three modules that have been with the electronics graduates at Lotus, and they have had to admit defeat.
If you get a code that tells you something is wrong in the module then you have a vague chance of possibly fixing that, but so many times it just says 'Control Module Fault' or even worse, you cannot even communicate with the module.
Over the past few months I have seen prices for these module go from £35-40 each to now at least £120 and often more if the seller knows he has a rare one.
So in the meantime, I will continue to fit and code secondhand ones for people as that is the only current solution.
