Rare low mileage very early Z4

Many Thanks Mr Tidy!

Yes spot on, Richmond Hill is the location. Wonderful place and I've met Townshend and a few of the other famous faces. I had to quickly take the photos of the car before flying away on business, still away now, return to London next weekend.

Spell check - its supposed to be £4950. Just doing a big house move and clearing out a bunch of stuff so shouldn't have wrote the advert so quickly.

The reason I bought the 3.0 Z4 back in 2003 when they first came out is because they are every bit as classic as any vintage sports car I've had, and I have luckily owned many. Always go for the best model and the earliest possible date if poss. - this is a good strategy in my experience. 1959 minis are gold dust and price reflects this. A 2003 Z4 will be similar one day, perhaps way off who knows. But not by Boxster standards, my 2003 Boxster S I sold in 2014 for £7k was sold on again last year for £10K.

I've searched and searched for my original Z4 but never been able to find it, Id love to buy it back - 2003 3.0, same colour and wheels as current one but with cream interior, reg. EA53 ESU. See attached

I'm only selling this one to buy a Z4 M. Per above, my strategy is to get the best and low mileage. I wont be driving it much and intend keeping it under 40k miles.

All the best and thanks for your response.

Jamie

Actually I didn't realise that, thanks.

Looks like you have a lovely TR4. I have a Healey. Aren't cars from this era gorgeous?!

If you are going to appeal to a forum of knowledgeable enthusiast and achieve above market value you really need to cut out the flim-flam about investment potential etc and give some relevant info like actual service history dates/miles (BMW or Indi, self-serviced?) details of parts replaced particularly common jobs like springs, window regulators, hood motor etc, are the tyres good? RFT's or quality non-RFT?

Also showing the reg number allows people to check the MOT history which adds a bit of confidence.

Personally I'd like to think your pricing is spot-on

Good suggestions, thanks. All good with the car, I always get everything done that needs it but shouldn't assume others know that so thanks.

Good point on the hood, one of our previous Z4s did have that problem. This one im selling here hasn't had that much use at 40k miles so hopefully still all good for the future. However even with little use, its still quite old and could be worth checking. It certainly works well.

thx

Having sold a 3.0 roadie this year for a lot less than than this car , I would say you may be optimistic in the economic environment we are in , however you just need one person that wants that spec with those miles and you will sell it. GLWTS

Actually it should have read £4950. Selling a bunch of stuff with a house move so apologies, should have taken more time to write the advert. Its a lovely the car though and I was hoping it would go to someone else like me who particularly likes Z4s and wants to look after it going forward.

All the best

£6950 ono.

:o

GLWTS...... I think you are going to need it.

No idea what acronyms like that mean dude, plain English please. £4950 though, not £6950 though. Typo on my behalf but suspect subconscious wishful thinking. I think you should buy it and add to your collection

That'll be 'good luck with the sale'....

Well done for sticking with the post... Despite a few elbows...

Yeah, I'll second that (although you say your first price was a typo . . . . really? :? )

Not looking for a roadster but I like the colour and I would always buy on condition and mileage. Price can always be negotiated, there are lots of Z4's about it just depends on how keen the seller is to sell and the buyer to buy.
