Rapid pressure loss from rear offside tyre

Just thought you might like to know what happens when a nail punctures the tyre and causes total loss of pressure.

Firstly - no warning light on dash!
Secondly, a medium left-hander at 60mph turns into a full opposite-lock, traction light flashing roller coaster ride!
Third - immediate visit to garage.

Not sure why the warning light failed to light but will let you know how the new Falkens perform! And in case you're curious, they're non-run flats at £100 each.

Sorry to hear about the problem, well done for holding onto her!!

The warning light will probably only work when all wheels are pointing straight forward (no differences in rotation). That and the fact that it was quite a sudden loss, the pressure checker will only take an average over a minute or so (just incase of wheelspin, prolonged gentle cornering, road dilation etc).

Similarly, only ever reset the system when driving on a straight road :)

Nothing like a bit of surprise sideways action to make you feel alive!
I have run flats and was thinking about ditching them, let us know how different it feels. There is supposedly a massive reduction in tram lining?
