Ok Am going to get a reputation here for moaning about the weather but this is becoming a joke.

Fine in Sunny Preston last night so spied an opportunity to give the zed a good clean trying out some of my new found skills picked up on this site. All went well,,,, very pleased with the outcome until a got up this morning Yep it had been raining in the night, no change there you might say, but on closer inspection i found the car covered in what can only be described as half of the Sahara desert evenly spread on my nice gleeming zed a first for this year i think. Pity we dont get the sun that comes with the bloody sand!!!" I can't believe it" ( Victor Meldrew moment). Somebody has got it in for me, i need a car cover... a garage or very shortly a pacemaker. Aahh rant over.

No, totally with you there... there's nothing more frustrating than spending hours cleaning a car and finding it covered in a layer of crap. Thankfully mine's kept indoors now, but I've had to clean it three times from being caught in dusty rain showers...

We too were hit with the 'dusty rain cloud' in Winchester overnight so seems like there will be many cars cleaned this weekend!

yeah i am peeved off too. i paid a fiver to have my car washed and dried by the local immigrants on monday and after last nights rain, it was covered in sand too :x

..... well at least they give me a free air freshener every time i visit and put the black stuff on my tyres too, so cant complain too much
