Random hazard lights and alarm

Hi guys,

I've had reports from the gf when I was away playing golf, that my zed alarm randomly went off a couple of times in the middle of the night. Now, I put this down to the local cat walking over the bonnet/roof and setting it off, thought nothing more of it.
However, a neighbour knocked on my door this evening. Surprised and pleased to see him, he told me he had seen the hazard lights on the z going off for a period of time, twice in the last week.
I've not looked into this or taken it to a garge yet, any ideas??

The bonnet sensor is known to go tits up. Probably should be the first thing to look at and check

Cheers Matt Bonnet sensor, is that easy to fit? Expensive?

Very easy. Had my alarm go off a few times randomly. Replaced the bonnet sensor and no reoccurrence. It's in the middle closest to the windscreen. If it keeps going off and you won't have a replacement for a while you can just remove it. £10 from Sopers.

Agreed. Same issues earlier this year.

£10 bonnet sensor, 5 mins to change.

Cheers guys, checked out the bonnet senor earlier today to find the lead to it had been knocked out of place! Replaced and hopefully, all will be well again
