Ram Air Scoops - more ready 13/9/17

If the template is found, I’m keen to order a black one. I’ve even been contemplating having one sent over from the states from this place..... AVT Air Intake Scoop e85 BMW Z4 2003-2009 Black https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F332111547567 ..... but they don’t look to be as good quality and don’t have the end plates.

One question though, I’m sure I read on one website that the RPI version may not be suitable for a pre-facelift 3.0i. Do they definitely fit?
 
Sorry for the late reply but after searching high and low, I can’t find the scoop that I kept to use as a template.

Our only hope now is that one comes up for sale or someone that didn’t fit theirs will lend it back to me.
 
I’m thinking about getting my bumper resprayed probably October November time if u haven’t got one by then you are welcome to use mine. As I cant get it off without taking the bumper off. All the best

Quick update-

After very a very kind donation of a previous scoop I made, I have cut the steel and sent them off to be welded and powder coated.

This is the second powder coated I’ve used and they do a really good job. Here’s the but......

They want an extra £2.50 per scoop to weld and powder coat (I think they under charged/estimated last time) I’m also going to add £2.50 to cover additional postage costs.

With the last set, I had a few instances where delivery was attempted and failed, meaning the scoop came back and I had to re-post at my expense.

So they should be ready soon, just depends how busy the powder coater is.

So £40 delivered via Hermes, hope this is ok with everyone.

Will put a for sale post up once ready :thumbsup:
