Ram Air Scoops - more ready 13/9/17

Oh and the 3 x screws are taped to the outside of the box, under the postage label as I forgot to put them inside

Hi,
I am really new to this forum and fhe Z4 scene,
I have just bought a s23i 2010 model...

Wanted to ask if your ram air intake fits this model?
And would you happen to have a link for this item? So i can read up?
Last but not least...if you have one...an installation guide..
:D
Many thanks.

Best regards
Amit.

Thank you Sir! What a nicely finished piece of kit.If it fits and delivers half the expected, then a really worthwhile mod.Well done

It's a fiddle, I found it easier to get the screw for the single leg caught first but not fully tight, then get the other 2 screws in.

I tried fitting but went back to standard which was a bit fiddly. Even with a stubby and a long screwdriver it is awkward.

The item is well manufactured but is not a good fit.

I cannot recommend this item at all and wished I had not bothered.

Couple of questions

Has anyone had to declare to insurance?
Does it fit ore facelift e85?
Can they be used with an afternarket air filter such as a ram air cold induction kit?

That's three, not a couple :poke:

- Officially, any mod should be declared to insurance. Ram Air Scoops are classed as a performance mod (debatable); didn't affect my policy but some companies would be less scrupulous.
- fits both facelift and non-facelift, but is fiddly to do with bumper on. With bumper off, its a breeze.
- No reason why they couldn't.

What did you declare as? The woman on the phone thought an air intake scoop was a spoiler modification..

I told them it was a modification to the front air intake system - they had that in their list of acceptable mods for "performance".
