Ram Air Scoops ### £35 delivered

Apologies guys, a few people have pointed out that increasing the price on these isn't really fair on people who had been waiting.

So, they will stay at £35 delivered and I will refund £10 to those who have paid the extra.

Hi Dan,

I've got a Z4MR and am seriously interested. Are there any downsides to this? I can't see any in the various links throughout this thread. No hydro lock etc.

Seems pretty good gains for a small outlay. I'd be interested in a black one if you have any?

Cheers
Wayne

I wouldn't take one of these swimming with this or the standard scoop which is more like a cup.

No downside though.

Hi, cheers don't think I'll go swimming then!

Is it ok for power washing etc? Assume so as its ok just now!!

Fitted this today, left the bumper on and went in through the kidney grills. Took me about 45mins to a hour - partly faffing about getting the bits together.

I'd recommend drilling out the holes to a wider bore - think I ended up 5mm.

I only managed to get 2 screws in, how its its the lower one of the pair is just missing plastic. Is this an issue? Other two are solid.

Car seems more responsive when knocking about at low speeds for sure. Smoother acceleration when cold. Overall worthwhile so far!

I'm interested but am concerned about water ingres when it rains.
Has anyone got one fitted and driven in the rain with any ill effects?

Thanks

Yep. Also use a pressure washer, no issues with water ingress.

That's good to hear, I know the air filter will stop any water just concerned as it's my daily drive.
