rain sensors not working...

Rain sensing wipers seem to have given up...has anyone had similar problems?
The roller bit on the stalk is still working because if I move this the wipers operate...so I'm assuming the wipers are "on" but no signal from the rain sensing bit to tell them to work.
Does anyone know if there is a fuse I can check for this?
Normal wiper operation is fine with pull down for 1 wipe and constant wiping after two clicks up.
 
How does the sensor on the screen look? It should be stuck to the screen, just under the rear view mirror. Its can start to come away from the window and cause problems.
 
thanks for the info fellas, I'll check it out and if there's bubbles in place I'll just unplug it and live with it in "normal" mode. :thumbsup:
