Hello fellow z4 drivers. Lately i've been struggling with my rain sensor. It didn't work, and according to the existing topics on the rain/light sensor the consensus is to reattach the lens first. Installed a new lens, still no auto wipers.
Bought several used rain sensors with the same result. I connect the sensor to the lens. It then works several times, so the lens should be mounted properly to the screen, bubbelfree. After a few times driving, the rain sensor stops working, while the light sensor part continues to work.
Initializing in INPA doesn't do nothing, values keep reeding at max 255.
Has anyone encountered this problem before and if so, how did you solve this?
