I needed to replace my rain sensor gel pad due to air bubbles. Ive had one attempt. I put the gel firstly on the screen then attached the lens to it. Unfortunately it did not go well and i ended up pulling it off. I have one gel pad left. Has anyone managed to sucessfully replace one and not get air bubbles in it? If so how did you manage it? I ve heard heating the pad up may help any other advice?

Heating the gel pad can help make it more pliable and reduce bubbles. Also, ensure the surface is clean and apply the gel slowly, pressing out bubbles with a card. Good luck!

Im finding this impossible not to end up with a bubble somewhere. Anyone managed this without one? I tried putting a bit of water on the pad as the instructions said but then couldnt get it to stick. I'm now on my fourth attempt. anyone attached the lens without using a gel pad?
