So far the journey has been long with my 60000mile 3lt manual, false service history etc but it is genuine low mileage. M5 module reverb fixed central locking and battery drain, changed electric mirror switch, yaw sensor replacement fixed my warning light issue, replaced expansion tank as leaked, rocker cover gasket and oil filter housing gasket replaced solved oil leak, passenger seat motor fixed, stereo suddenly stopped working and replaced, new battery, rear parking sensors fixed with new module, and on to my next issue, the rain sensor.
I can see evidence of silicon on the edges of the sensor, tried to take photo but reflection on windscreen made it hard to photo. Disconnected the wire going into the sensor and my intermitted wipers work on the stem switch so it must be the the sensor. Question is, can the sensor be replaced?
With sensor disconnected I guess the auto lights will not work, rather have the intermitted wipers working manually if its not a fix. Would this cause a problem other than with the auto lights?
