Ragtop in winter

Just a quick one guys as this is my first winter with my car and the first frost was a few days ago.

i keep my car outside all the time and although i have been putting the cover on it is there something i should treat it with to prevent wear/damage due to extreme cold.

i live at the highest point in newcastle so it gets a little chilly up here. i do use softop cleaner and conditioner every couple of months, is this enough?

Yeah that'll be fine. Our version of "extreme cold" is somewhat milder than the likes of our Canadian Z4er's who I guess suffer a lot more :)

My Z4 is garaged 99.9% of the time, but if it comes to it I always ensure the roof fabric is dry (from rain or frost) before dropping the roof.

The auto glym or bmw roof protector should do the job, one good treatment before the worst of the weather, or if in doubt a hardtop? :D

The AG kit from Halfords is OK used it since Jan 08 trying Renovo next as it lasts longer but my hood survived Frost and Snow no probs with the AG KIT

looks white on the first pic, that would have been quite rare.

i think il give the roof a good thorough clean on the weekend and keep the cover on when i can.
