rag top roof cover

Anyone out their got genuine bmw roof cover? After hearing so many roof motors give up due to blocked drain holes I would like to get one but not sure if they cover the rear window preventing debri being washed into drain holes? I have called 2 local stealers but they cannot give answer? I have to pay before they will order one so want to be sure that this will do the job. Don't want full cover as these cause paint damage. I hope some one can give me the definitive answer. Cheers for reading.

there is a little button at the top called search, infact i think there is a thread about 2 days ago with various pictures of the covers..

Here you are Windnwaves; this is the thread with pics. I have no experience with a Z4 cover but had something similar to this for my old Z3 and it worked a treat.

Yep. rear window is completely covered. 2 suction pads on the winscreen, pockets fit over wing-mirrors, stretchy elastic gets closed into the boot which offers a minimal level of security - perfect snug fit covering whole of roof.

Thank you everyone for input, looks a great bit of kit and will order one tomorrow :D I did buy one from argoos for £8.99  unwrapped it at home, looks like a large plastic sheet for covering a matress  Back in the bag never to be used :headbang:
Titanium silver with matching cover....very gucci

Hi, Very good price, normally retail at approx £160 i think? I'm opting for the roof cover only option because you can fit to dirty car without causing damage to paint work, i think the techy term is marring. I had this happen to saab convertible, seems to take the polish off all the high spots
I have ordered my roof cover, collect on Saturday (could be the saviour of my roof motor)

Just put mine (OEM BMW roof cover) on for the first time today and within 20mins it started to pour rain! Have to say very happy with it. It fits great and it looks to channel water away from that gap leading down to the roof motor. I feel much more comfortable now leaving the car outside now during the winter. Only question now is how it will hold up in the wind.
