Radio unit damaged

Morning all.

Got in the car this morning to find the screen of the radio unit damaged. Not sure how it's happened! Everything still works except the display

Any ideas? Will it have to be a whole new unit or could the screen just be replaced.

Oops just realised this isnt the e89 section. Would be grateful if a mod could move it

If that were mine I think I would locate one from ebay (there are plenty on there) and swap the screen over. Failing that swap the whole unit, but it may need coding.

The LCD display is cracked, you can't fix it. As said either replace the LCD or the whole head unit.

Thanks for your help. Found someone in london who can do it for £150. Much better than the £750 cooper bmw Malton wanted!
