Radio on but no sound

Howdy

My radio was working fine yesterday but today I turned it on and I have display but no sound!!

I have the 10 speaker dsp system.

Has anyone had a similar problem and if so how was it fixed?

This happened to me on my e89. I didn't realise pressing the volume knob in muted the whole thing

If you've got the Multi-Function Steering Wheel you might have pressed the mute button - it's one of the ones on the right.

could be that your amp is fried.

I took out the amp. The fuse is reading ok, there is no corrosion, it all looks ok. There’s no smell of anything burnt either.

My parrot works ok still. I think it could be the head unit, specifically the volume on/off knob.

If you’re near Rotherham I have a head unit in the gate you can try to help find the fault.
