Radio interference

Anyone had it that when the rear demist screen is turned on they get major interference on the radio…

Seems to be a new problem.

Did notice the demist isn’t working either

Not had chance to get a multimeter on it yet to see if it’s getting signal
 
Sounds like you have an noisy earth. Possibly water has got in some place. Maybe try a hair dryer on the inside, to try and dry out the wires leading to the screen. Or maybe that's just a daft idea, but was a thought I had anyhow. :)
 
As mentioned previously I also think it is an earth problem. Is your aerial screwed on tight? On my friends car, the nut holding the aerial to the wing was loose.
 
I’ve come to the same conclusion. I thought the mirrors and rear screen were not working but a bit of investigation with a multimeter shows they are all getting voltage ok and they seem ok . Deffo getting warm to the touch. I’ll have a poke around the antenna etc as reading the web there seems to be a common module in BMWs that can cause this
