Hey guys, I could use some help. I’ve got a 2006 BMW Z4 3.0i (VIN: 4USBU33576LW69731). I already ordered one radiator that was supposed to fit, but it turned out not to.

Now I’m not sure which part number is the right one. Does anyone know for sure which radiator I actually need? Appreciate any tips on OEM vs aftermarket brands too. I’m attaching a photo of my old radiator for reference. Thanks!

If its a 2006 build date car then it'll be an N52 engine:

17119071517 for a manual gearbox

17117551635 for an auto gearbox

Just done the radiator and expansion tank on my n52 2.5i. Got a Mahle one. Aftermarket rads are usually the same for autos and manuals, but come with 2 plug types. One is for the auto to allow the cooler connection. The other closes off the feed for the auto cooler to use in a manual car. No instructions on this are supplied with the Mahle rad, but a web search turned up their instructions on this. Thought I'd mention this as alot of rework if the wrong plug us used! Lots of info on here on how to fill and bleed the cooling system when you are finished.
