Radiator flush question

I’m going to flush my cooling system with FORTE bio degreaser & cooling system flush. I don’t understand the part of the instructions that says ( Add at 20% by volume into the coolant. ). The bottle contains 400ml. If anyone understands the formula I would appreciate your help

You will need 5 bottles at 20% by coolant volume, assuming a typical 3.0 must take about 10L coolant.

1 L = 1000 ml so your coolant volume is 10,000 ml
20% of 10,000 ml = 2000 ml
each bottle contains 400 ml so you need 5 bottles.

I'd be interested to see what crud comes out

I did a bit of research and came up with the same formula, 5 bottles seem a bit excessive. Might contact the manufacturer on Monday to confirm how much I need to use

Any less than 20% and I'm not sure you'd get the cleaning? As in it wouldn't be concentrated enough to degrease and flush?

Got a reply for Forte & they confirm five bottles needed for 10 litres. My local motor factors only had four so I decided to use four. Still did a good job as you can see by the before & after photos.

I wouldn’t say any sludge, but there was loads of brown shitty coloured fluid. The red stuff is what was in the rad before I added the flush
