RAC Membership

I have used the RAC once and as the benefit is 'included' there is no difference on cost. I'm not sure if there is a limit on claims and probably not going to ask!

Have you contacted them to say your not happy with the service and their renewal quote is far to dear .

More or less exact thing happened to me when the AA decided it was going to put my premium up from £150 to £244. Even had the nerve to say that as a "gold" member I would receive this and that for free. Told them I would be prepared to pay £150 plus 3% for year on inflation or I'd walk which indeed I did. Now with Green Flag at £150. Best part about it as a new member I could have got the AA for £150!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any company that tries to shaft me loses my business - end off - permanently. :x

I use Brittania Rescue (thro csma ) and have done for years. Never had any cause to complain yet. I've had a few call outs thro the years .
We had a heavy crash (not my fault) on the A1 a few years ago and they had us to our destination then back home in a chauffeur driven car!

From memory we pay £180 a year which is a bells and whistles cover for two full members (driving or with any car) and two specified cars. The two cars with full euro cover.
