Got a renewal in for my Jeep Wrangler ...... bear in mind I have 3 cars insured on 3 policies with them .......
Renewal price was 592 pounds !!!!!!! (1 year No Claims on this one) .....
Phoned them up, ....... had a really sweet girl on the line ....... I said, don't take this personally but I have a 350 bhp moster on the driveway worth 10K plus which you insure for 250 pounds ........ and you want me to pay 600 pounds for a no horsepower jeep worth nothing ?????
........... you wouldn't consider that to be taking the Piss ?????
10 secs later it was reduced to 400 pound flat ......... defo worth picking up the phone ........
On the plus side ........ (which I mentioned on another thead) ...... total increase in my premiums for all 3 cars to gether when adding my newly aquired 6 points ....... was just 8 pounds ....... result.
