R8 V10

Maniac, if you could afford it, do it! It is an 'affordable' supercar, and one you can drive every day!

I've considered it a number of times, but I'll wait until I'm not doing so many miles or can afford to run two cars.
 
This is in cinemas apparently. I can only imagine what that sounds like.

Updated R-Tronic box still sounds slow to change gear :o hope they do better on the new shape 2015 car :driving:
 
Drove my friends a few times. I think the sound from the one in the video may have been tinkered with as it never sounded quite like that. It did sound good but just not quite like that. However, we were both in agreement that his V8 sounded better both inside and out.

In terms of driving it was brutal. Things happen soooooooo fast and the car is so planted that you don't realise how fast you are going. You can easily do double the speed limit without too much effort if you are not careful.

The R-tronic was rubbish but the new ones are S-tronic and it really is very good. It's the same box in the new RS4 and we really tried very hard to confuse it and failed.

Here's the one i drove. Interestingly the colour was Sepang Blue. I know how sprang, serpang, spergang, ssper..... brown is a Z colour :)
