U regret fitting them??
I don't quite get what you're saying argenta...
U prefer oem arms or bushes
Or u prefer oem bushes with aftermarket arms and limiters?
Or xxxxx

I dont have an M but i did refresh the rear of my car a few years ago. All new bushes RTAB RARB and the bushes in the axle sub frame. I used standard bushes as i had heard that there can be nasty jolting feelings transferred to the chassis from the drive train. But the limiting kit (I made my own) Its is after all just some machined washers with a taper. And i think it really made an improvement. And didn't sacrifice any comfort. Next thing for me is to fit the H&R rear ARB and i think i will use powerfelx bushes on this.

:) Read again! I don't regret putting them on no. I'm sure they're great.
I regret I'm not in the position to feel the difference.
I have new OEM bushes with Limiters from AKG Motorsport US.
Sorry if I wasn't clear!

I have a tool for removing and installing them. You're welcome to borrow it I just can't remember which forum member has it right now!!!

That would be me!! I have been busy upgrading the M, and your tool! Makes the job completely doable by anyone really. Would be a complete PITA, potentially not even possible for most without! Will drop you a message next time I'm over your direction, if you need it sooner just let me know

My 2p, I went with new standard (possible CSL spec, slightly firmer, can't remember) and the turner motorsport metal limiters. I took the cages out, drilled them, gave them a good clean and a lick of paint. Nice little satisfying job for a weekend. Because I change a lot of other bits and pieces whilst there I can't isolate what improvements are down to them alone though unfortunately.

All been delivered now along with my discs and pads ready to go on just need to pick up the oem rta bushes and it's good go!

The H&R ARB already comes with bushes. I dont know if they're polyurethane, but they're fairly stiff (no oem rubber) and they have some kind of anti friction mesh (nylon or so) melted/glued into them.

I got the arb second hand without the bushes.

Ah right.
I thought I'd mentioned it in case you bought a new one and prevent ordering extra bushings.
Pretty rare to find one 2nd hand.
Not many manufacturers make a 21mm rear arb bushing I think.

How much do you guys reckon a good Indy would charge for putting on new discs and pads all round and switching out the engine and gearbox mounts and RTAbushes and putting the limiter kit on?

Guna ring my garage on my next day off and see with them just wanted to know how much you guys reckon beforehand cheers

:poke: Bump. No one had an Indy fit any of these parts before??
Am I the first?

Sorry cant help i do all my own work. But my advice is get more than one quote. And try and use a indy your trust or recommended. Its going to be a fair few hours work.

Cheers man will do.
How much would you charge mate? :D :D

If i had the time i would just charge you for a days work. whats fair for a Saturdays work £150??
But i really dont think i have the time. Where are you as i can recommend a very good indy in Oxford.

T'up north!
I've got an alright Indy I've used before but I just wanted to know if I'm getting my pants pulled down over the price. Just wanted a ball park figure before I get a quote off them.

I had my springs and decat fitted at main dealer for £150

So may be worth asking a main dealer and smile as they can be OK as they know lose business to older cars so they do try
Discs and pads are easy enough :)
