R.O Detailing - Scouring Pads Are For Washing Up!!

Had this customer call me after his partner used a scouring pad on their 2005 Mini Cooper to remove some bird poo! anyway as this was only a quick repair. i didnt take many pictures but it was washed in the normal manner and machined to remove the damage!

Good job, and as above what did you use.

I tried some megs 105 on an orange SFX pad last night on my PC. Although it has done a good job on my wet sanding i still have lots of very fine scratches its hardly touched.

And before anybody says it, i am not going to wet sand the whole car, although this would be one answer.
 
I've used scholl s17 and a orange hex pad on my wet sending marks then meguiars 105 and to finish 205

I was going to seek some advice from cueball is post frequently on DW and seem to know his stuff.
 
Yes got all the sanding marks off (but that was 3000 grit wet and dry)

Mine got all the sanding marks out without a problem, it's the very fine scratches over the rest that it hardly touched.
 
From what I've found its just a lot of work ;) I try a do a small area on the Z at a time when I can , at this rate it will take me a year to do :(
Would love to get Nova to do it so I can just keep on top of it :D

Hahaha well you know where I am! Suppose I could come to you but fuel alone would cost more than the job lol
