R.I.P Vic Elford

photo_biography_1043_600x958.jpgSad news of the recent passing at 86 years of another giant of motorsport and someone I admired immensely, 'Quick Vic' Elford. Thirteen F1 entries in the late 60s and many successful sportscar outings, notably 24hr du Mans and Nurburgring 1000km. Hugely respected by his peers he could drive and win in anything, most notably the Porsche 917. RIP Victor Henry Elford.

Yes I saw that he had died and was going to post something but totally forgot so thank you for posting this . A great driver .
 
86 for a racing driver from the '60s is a good stint TBH.
