Such a shock - big loss - a modern Edward G Robinson. Such a powerful performance in The Long Good Friday - had no idea he was so ill and only 71. RIP.

Completely agree, very underrated actor. I remember watching Mona Lisa (Another modern classic) years ago and being struck by how real and believable his character seemed.
