So, couple of photies for you all. Tell you what, it was really, really wet yesterday! We nearly had to swim home...and had to crawl through a few puddles.
Went out with this beast:
Got to Leyburn OK, weather looked like it was improving:

The M6 is completely blacked out and I reckon my mate might get a little bit of unwanted attention in that! It's on about 30k miles, lots of additional carbon - splitter, interior, rear spoiler.
After we got to Leyburn, we had to go up and over one of the Dales and we emerged the other side to see this:

But it really didn't improve after that.
We did our route pretty much as planned, although there were a few closed roads which was unsurprising given the amount of rain in the last few days. We eventually arrived at the Wensleydale Centre in Hawes - it was already getting gloomy/dark there at 2.45pm.
Last stop at Ribblehead viaduct - although this shot is looking the other/wrong way, it makes no odds - the viaduct was enveloped in mist and you couldn't see anything worth seeing!
I'd just driven the M6 to that spot from Hawes - not a very long run but the weather was just awful. Visibility was down to maybe 100 yds max so I'm thankful we got there and back in one piece to be honest. I'll have another go out in it when it's a little drier! Anyway, my pal obviously drove mine to that spot and his report: "Crickey, that is raw!". He also reported it being very analogue (a good thing) and more immediate responses than the E63M. Steering the M6 felt like skippering a boat in comparison! His rear arches also clash with the tyres on any serious compression, which mine doesn't, fortunately. Anyway, it's a little unfair to review the M6 in that weather so I might revisit this probably next year.
