Quick questions about E89 Business cd

Hello comrades,

I just got my used E89 s23i :driving: (pics will follow).
I was lucky to have the color combination of my choise (Grey with black seats) however i has the business CD not the Professional.

I burned some plain MP3's (TDK disks-no complex folders) with nero, but player was unable to read.

Does this player have full MP3 capabilty or requires some special tricks.?
If it cannot play MP3 can i do i direct swap with a used (ebay) Professional CD ?

Thanks

They have to be burned on to cd in the 'red book' audio format, which is a conversion of straight mp3. Most CD burners like IBM recordnow do this as default. Mine which were mp3 format burned to cd all play fine.

My 23i with the business system did play mp3 cd's OK but it had trouble with folders as I recall.

I you burned the CD with Nero, it's default setting was not to ISO format.

Make sure it's both ISO and you close the session. That caught me out first attempt.

Thank you all  ,

the ISO setting was the problem.
Now files and folders are easily read.

Does it worth the extra$$ to swap to professional CD? is it a direct plug & play?
Will I really hear the difference?
