quick question about other drivers...is this just me?

Mmmm staring to realise that folks always think you are up for some messin around when you are driving a zed, but can't remember much of this when I was driving my 2.0 roadster - though I've moved house since.

There is the other extreme though - last Sunday taking my time through a local town looked in the mirror and a very nice GTR behind me , keeping lots of space between us , observing the limits etc. very well behaved. There was another two miles of this road before a roundabout on to a dual carriageway - I think we were both wondering what the other was thinking!

Got to the roundabout and sure enough we both woke up - but man the GTR just disappeared into the distance - good clean fun! :driving:

I don't really have anyone trying to race, just this old 7 series with loud exhaust that's in the area has tried a few times.

Reintroduce the driving test and many of these people would vanish over night :)

I was spat at in the Z3 on one occasion.

Tim.

Oh dear I'm seeing myself in many of these posts.

On the way home tonight I waited, coming out of a 30 limit, for a white 458 to come along side, then hoofed it up the dual carriage way. He completely ignored me. So I'm guessing that makes the 458 a bigger knob magnet than the Z. Thus making me erm, let me think,

PS In my lame defence, not many 458's around here. :P

Don't get me wrong, I love to drive in a "spirited" manner, and if a driver chooses to join me for a while, then all the better, but taking ludicrous risks in traffic just to "have" the Z4 is just silly!

I am looking forward to trying a track day as the various islands of Milton Keynes were most entertaining today!

Ok, update to the white van rhetoric - had a 'silver van man' (or woman, I do live in Brighton after all) test me earlier today........obviously his/her commercial vehicle was way more powerful and better set-up for Sussex B-roads than my Zed, so I let him rag-it past me knowing that any 'race' would lead to defeat on my part.............

Get booked up for Cadwell Park Zed day :driving:

Probably something the Roadster boys and girls have to deal with more than us Coupe drivers I suspect. I don't know why, but having the roof off in a car seems to provoke all sorts of ridiculous reactions from some people.
