My z4 coupe only has the 3.0si bade on one side, the passenger one, none on the drivers or the rear,

is that normal or were they removed at some stage?

When i got mine, although a 3.0i se roadster, it only had the 3.0I badge on the passenger side as well. I just assumed somebody stole it at some stage ?. I have both now though.

I am sure somebody will be along soon to provide a more definitive answer.

Mine only had one on the drivers side they did not all leave the factory with two will have to ask my mate who works for BMW why this was he did tell me just something BMW did.

usally its on both sides, rear has "Z4" or "M" for the M.
the 2 liter 4 cylinder came with no badge on the sides (and one muffler)

My 2.0 came fully badged up - it was an option to delete badges when the car was new
