Quick Ipod Adapter Question

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and just want a quick answer on what is the best sytem to buy with regards to running iphone 4s in the car.

I want bluetooth music streaming and still keep voice calls with as many functions on the stereo as possible. I also want something which will be compatible with iphone 5 should i end up with one.

Now I have trawled the websites / youtube / the forum but don't want to get something based on out of date info as new tech appears all the time.

My Z4M has the NAV package and a six cd changer so I want to keep it all if possible.

I meant to mention I have been looking at intravee II, dice mediabridge and gateway. Please just tell me which one works best!!

I'd say what you need is an Intravee II plus an Alpine KCA 420i. That combo has the best integration with the nav

The alternatives are Dice and Dension. Do you already have Bluetooth?

To keep the CD changer, you need the AI changer as well. Do you really need it though ....

probably not I guess! It'd just be nice to have if possible. What is the AI changer?

I went with the BMW ipod connector to the back of the unit didn't need the cd changer and as I change tracks on ipod pretty regular I just loaded the 5 BMW playlists you create and away you go. pretty simple

Thanks again for this guys. I've done some more research and the intravee alpine setup seems the best. Only thing is I guess that doesn't stream music for you does it I.e you still have to plug in the iPhone to the intravee unit? Cheers j
