I’ve just put GE Megalight Ultra +150 in my Octavia daily beater which has the most ineffectual halogen set up I’ve encountered. The transformation is massive, I haven’t had a car without xenons for a long time and didn’t realise how good the uprated bulbs available are now. Downside is the price and longevity but for me these are the answer for driving on unlit dual carriageways and country roads. £20 each from Halfords or £28 a pair from an eBay seller.
