Yesterday was a wash out here so when i saw blue sky this morning the car was out & 10mins later i was on Widdup Moor , across to Hebden Bridge & back 30 miles / 40 mins with barely another car, bike or walker anywhere :driving:
Not so good for the Passat in last pic tho :o some tight hairpins in places & clearly going to fast or just misread the roadsign  stopped as i wasn't sure how long it had been there but no one around

Fantastic roads  not a good place to park a Passat though
They've been very lucky , the back axle had lodged on the stones from the wall , next stop would have been 50ft down the otherside in the river

Great roads - you're very lucky having those on your doorstep - and the perfect way to build up an appetite for a decent cooked brekkie

Nice run out Mr Wilks,
- Just waiting for next weeks advert now ....."4x VW Passatt wheels finished in Black Satin,". £250.

My first thoughts, 'did you have the wheels off off it?'
